He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Thompson and Mildred Thompson (Sebranek); his wife Sybil G. Crowley; his daughter Keri Ellett; his brother Charlie Thompson; and his sons-in-law, Trail Wyman and Mike Carter.
He is survived by: his children, Kirbi Hintz (Robert) of Texas, Jill Carter of Arizona, Kathy Johnson (Charlie Huffstutler) of Reedsburg, Patti Wyman of Wonewoc and Douglas Thompson of Wonewoc. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Reedsburg Area Medical Center Foundation.
