He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Herritz and Mildred Herritz (Licht); his parents-in-law, Levi and Leona Krueger; his son Michael Herritz; his great grandchild Willow Herritz; and his brothers, Russell and Harland Herritz.
He is survived by: his wife Lyla Krueger; his children, Dale Herritz (Jeanne), David Herritz and Patrick "Pete" Herritz (Misty); his daughter-in-law Jean Ann "Herritz" Dunse; his grandchildren, Todd, Travis, Kurt, Josh, Allan, Dustin, Lindsey and Michelle; his great grandchildren, Samantha, Colton, Kody, Taylor, Madison and Oliver; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Herritz and LaReta Dischler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews along as well as friends and other relatives.
