He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Barto and Evelyn Barto (Froehlich); and his siblings, Gustav Barto, Carolyn Barto and Sharon Artz (Vern).
He is survived by: his siblings, David Barto of Reedsburg and Judy Hannam of Baraboo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
