He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhard Saniter and Ella Saniter (Ladwig); his daughter Fortunata Saniter Schleicher; and his siblings, LaVern Saniter, Marlene Beyer and Mayris Schuenemann.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen of Reedsburg; his children, Grimaldo Walker (Paula Cooney) of Minneapolis, MN, Kevin Hegg (Sarah) of Reedsburg and Jason Hegg of Madison; his son-in-law Dan Schleicher; his grandchildren, Natalya Walker, Graham Walker, Joelle Marioni (Emmanuel), Kristen Lucente (James), Danielle Payne (Dylan), Abby Hegg and Andrew Hegg; and his great grandchildren, Eli, Emmanuel, Eliana and Eden. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Reedsburg Area Helping Hands, 624 Willow Street, Reedsburg, WI 53959 in Bruce's memory.
