She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam P. Durben and Mary Durben (Ecker); her husband Clarence W. Bittner; her son Gerard N. Bittner of Reedsburg, WI; her sister Bernice Olk (Jay) of Clintonville, WI; and her siblings-in-law, Norbert Peplinski of Pulaski, WI, Dorothy (Bittner) and Frederick Schnell.
She is survived by: her children, Mary A. Bittner of Ypsilanti, MI, Robert J. Bittner (Janet) of Redding, CA and Barbara J. Paul (Kenneth); her granddaughter Christina Abbey (Ben); her child Anda Paul of Ft. Collins; her great grandchild Lincoln Abbey; and her sister Dorothy M. Peplinski of Seymour, WI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Sauk County Historical Society, Baraboo, WI.
