He was predeceased by: his brothers-in-law, Burt Boerst and Evan Foulke. He is survived by: his fiancée Susan Peterson; his children, Ivan Korth, Julie Garrido, Tina Preuss (Scott) and Leanne Templin (John); the mother of his children Sharon Curtiss; his stepdaughter Anjanet Robertson (Floyd); his grandchildren, Chelsey Strubel (Robert), Allison Berning (Tyler Shanks), Hunter Knitt, Madison Spencer, Alexis, Samuel Templin, Austin, Dean and Zella Garrido; his stepgrandchildren, Lauren Robertson, Summer Williams and Jaz Roberts; his great grandchildren, Jaxson and Eddie Strubel; and his siblings, Violet Boerst, Delores Foulke, Karen Habeck (Jim), Jeff Machmueller (Kim) and Kristy Beltz (Steve). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorials of remembrance may be made to the Reedsburg Church of God, or to Samaritan's Purse in lieu of flowers.
