She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Shoman and Carol Shoman (DeBroux); her sister Suzanne Shoman; her parents-in-law, Clarence and Rita DeShaney (Wittman); her in-laws, Sharon Hopfensperger, Kathy DeShaney, Clarence "Mike" DeShaney, John Meixl, Ron Schoepel and Kenneth Levknecht; her nieces, Emily Aus and Terri Schreiber; and her nephew Jacob Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Pete" DeShaney of Mary's Catholic Church; her children, Dana Suprise (Brian), Stephanie Marks (Scott) and Peter DeShaney; her grandchildren, Zachary (Morgan), Kyle, Connor, Abbigail, Jordan, Morgan and Kendra; her great grandchild Micah; and her siblings, Peggy Johnson (Thomas), Paula Tellock, Wendy Aus (Daniel), Robert DeShaney (Sheri), Jeanne Lamers (Alan), Mary Schreiber (Robert), Pat Meixl, Jack DeShaney (Mary), Judy Schoepel, Wendy Lodholz (Gary), Kim Surman (Rick) and Kerry Goffard (Bruce).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Most Precious Blood Catholic Church (120 E Washington St, New London, WI 54961). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
