It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark John LaFever of Random Lake, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 22, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Sandy; and his brothers, Jay, Neal, Miles and Dennis.

He is survived by: his children, Mark, Tracy Hiller (Jeff), Lynn LaFever, Kelly LaFever and Michael LaFever (Carla); his grandchildren, Mauranda Horstmeier (Joe), Rebecah Hiller, Jarrett Hiller, Cathryn Hiller, Jessica Helminger, Callie Helminger, Chloe LaFever, Trenton LaFever, Ian LaFever and Hannah LaFever; and his great grandchildren, Mia Hiller, Atticus Horstmeier and Gideon Horstmeier.

In lieu of flowers memorials are encouraged to St. John United Church of Christ in Random Lake or the charity of your choice.

Kathe Behrend wrote a sympathy message

“My husband Bob Behrend and I were so saddened to hear of Mark`s passing. He is my second cousin on my (Kathe) Grandfather John Laux`s side. I had just spoken with Mark after Easter and he sounded so cheerful and upbeat, but that was Mark`s nature. We spent a wonderful day together a few years ago visiting family grave sites and remembering the fun we had at the Batavia Fourth of July and Fireman`s picnics when we were kids. I know he will be missed by his wonderful family. Our sympathy to you.”
