With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Sytsma of Randolph, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 19, 2025 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Schaalma and Jennie Schaalma (Fisher); her brother James Schaalma; and her brother-in-law Richard DeYoung. She is survived by: her husband Charles Sytsma; her children, Lesa Steinhorst (Shawn), Cheryl and Darren Sytsma (Tina); her grandchildren, Emily Chan (Justin), Tyler Steinhorst (Alexandria Wendler), Kearsten Sytsma and Tucker Sytsma; her sister Marlene DeYoung; her sister-in-law Rose Schaalma; and her in-laws, Catherine Wiersma (Orval), Darlene Missall (David), Dennis Sytsma (Mary) and Mindy Sytsma. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Second Christian Reformed Church (332 Tamarack St, Randolph, WI 53956). A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
