She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Alsum and Gertrude Alsum (Tobak); her siblings, Ronald, Duane Alsum and Marilyn Quade; and her sister-in-law Joyce Alsum.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Abel (Elisabeth), Douglas Abel (Lori), Kevin Abel (Heather) and Robert Abel (Joyce); her grandchildren, Caleb, Isabella, Jacob, Destenee, Isaac, Hannah, Ashley (Alex), Brienna (Ryan) and Shayla; her great grandchildren, Jack, Walter, Noah and Penelope; her siblings, Milton Alsum and Jackie Hoekstra (Bob); and her siblings-in-law, Archie Quade and Sandy Alsum. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
