We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2021, at the age of 98, Henrietta Vander Werff of Randolph, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dykema and Anna Dykema (Dykema); her husband John Vander Werff; her siblings, Henry Dykema (Hilda), Elizabeth Van Zanen (Robert), Gertrude Freeman (Gus), Pearl Schroeder (Gene) and Anne Smedema (Toby); her parents-in-law, Paul Vander Werff (Jean), Alfred Vander Werff, Louis Vander Werff (Arlene) and Anna Marie Krentz (William); and her stepgreat-grandson Josh Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, David Vander Werff (Dianne) of Markesan, Lois "Holly" Schut (Allen) of Holland and Joan Martinez (Henry) of Port Orange, FL; her grandchildren, Peter Vander Werff (Tabbie), Mark Vander Werff (Becky), Acacia Nikoi (Ephraim), Corin Schut (Elisa), Caleb John Schut (Sonja), Laura Hoekstra (Alex) and Joshua Austin (Mindy); her stepgrandchildren, Mina Gardner (Mike) and Melissa Stocker (Brent); her sister Janice Van Beek (Roger) of South Holland, IL; and her sister-in-law Tillie Vander Werff of Randolph. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Beautiful Response- a ministry educating and feeding children and youth in Uganda and Haiti.
