She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Leystra and Tena Leystra (Haima); and her husband William. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Jung (Louis) of Beaver Dam, William Meekma (Jane) of Waukesha, Gerald Meekma (Karen) of Randolph and Anthony Meekma (Jane) of Platteville; her grandchildren, Diane Sorenson (William), Sarah Meekma, Benjamin Meekma (Katie), Matthew Meekma, Kelli Weichelt (John) and Alex Meekma; her great grandchildren, Gavin Sorenson, Cheyenne Hobson, Jackson Meekma, Addison Meekma, Arianna Meekma, Finn Weichelt and Nora Weichelt; and her siblings-in-law, Evelyn Leystra, Dorothy Leystra, Tillie Vander Werff and Ted Meekma (Evelyn). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Reformed Church Memorial Fund or Beaver Dam Hillside Home Care and Hospice.
