She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Navis and Henrietta Navis; her husband Albert John Braaksma Jr.; her siblings, Gerald (Pearl), Jim (Grace), Cliff (Bentey), Harley (Nanda), Kenny Navis and Mildred Kuiper (Bill); and her siblings-in-law, Richard Gorr and Elaine Braaksma.
She is survived by: her sons, Duane Braaksma (Nancy), Eugene Braaksma (Kathy), Daniel Braaksma (Denice) and Jeffery Braaksma (Kristin); her sister Joyce Gorr; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Navis, Ann Hoekstra (Bill), Wanda Bossenbroek, Tina Navis and Sam Braaksma. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
