She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Alsum and Ida Alsum (DeVries); her husbands, Merlin DeYoung and Jim Lont; her daughter Branda Kay DeYoung; and her sister-in-law Maureen DeYoung.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Nieman (Dan) of Randolph and Kevin DeYoung (Chandra) of Randolph; her stepchildren, Phil Lont (Doreen), Tim Lont (Tami), Sarah Herrera (Aldo), Mary Noel (Adam) and Nathan Lont (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Allison, Benjamin Nieman, Lydia, Merlin, Michael DeYoung, Amanda, Megan, Gabrielle, Riley, Amelia, Jameson, Owen, Levi, Landon, Maya, Ethan, Elise, Ella and Isaac; her siblings, Catherine Hull (Elton) of Waupun and Gordon Alsum (Lois) of Waupun; and her brother-in-law Robert DeYoung of Waupun. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
