He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie J. Cross and Gladys H. Cross (Jones); his wife Doris (Mielke); his former wife Nancy; his daughter Darelyn Cross; his children-in-law, Doug Smith and Jodell Cross; and his siblings-in-law, Armand Prust, Eleanor Schraufnagel (Alex), Barbara Mielke, Sharon K. Mielke, Sandy Mielke, Peggy Mielke, Cheryl Mielke and Donald Voss.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel L. Cross, Green Bay and Delta J. Smith; his stepson Warren Heath (Stacy) of St Augustine, FL; his grandchildren, April Pongratz (Cody), Mildred Lacey (Desjuridin), Melissa Henker (Jeffrey), Michelle Nelson, James Heintz (Mandy), Ryan Ducham (Krysten), Hannah Heath, Anna Worter and Adam Worter (McKenzie); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Prust, Russell Mielke (Robin), Raymond Mielke (Sharon), John Mielke, Dale Mielke (Karen), Terry Mielke and Ardis Voss. He is also survived by other relatives, and friends.
