He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Candace Vasey (Jim) and Ellen Cruz (Phil); his grandchildren, Callie Rose Vasey, Sarah Pat Rothering (Mike) and Max J. Cruz (Yone Vaz); his great grandchildren, Ezra Chandler Bump, Liam and Ellah Rothering; and his nieces and nephews, Sandy Hansen (Bob), Terry Haas (Jan), Mitch Haas (Jody), Joe Haas (Thi Le), Chris Krause (Herman), Barbara Brooks (Gary Sonnenburg), Danny Deschler, Mary Redfern (Gary), Elizabeth Long, Kim Reitsma, Tom O'Day (Linda), Patrick O'Day, Micheal O'Day, Brian O'Day, Mary Claire Brownell (Gary), Tom Flanagan (Pattie), Jim Flanagan (Ruth) and Suzy VanSwol (Stu).
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the CDT St. Joseph Catholic Church (1533 Erie St, Racine, WI 53402). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (1533 Erie St, Racine, WI 53402).
