He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose and Francisca; his brothers, Joe and Henry; and his father-in-law Lawrence Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Angi; his children, Sammy Hernandez, Michele Roemer (Bryan), Jessica Malacara, Antonio Hernandez and Annalicia Hernandez; his grandchildren, Tyler, Miranda, Avianah, Graciela, Aliciana, Jordyn, Malaky and Milana; his mother-in-law Carole Wilson; his in-laws, Teri Orno (Nic) and JoEll Thomas (Dan); and his sister-in-law Chris Jacobsen (Jake). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
