He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. and Jane L.; his father-in-law Raymond (Doris Szymanski); his aunt Shirley; and his uncle Richard Carls.
He is survived by: his wife Terri Carls; his children, Taylor Carls (Amy) and Heather Morales (J. B.); his grandchildren, Christopher, Gavin, Annica, Isabella, Natalia and Julia; his great grandchildren, Andeomeda, Adonnis and Ahsoka; and his sister Terry. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any veteran's organization, St. Jude's Hospital or bless someone in need.
