We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2024, at the age of 92, Mike Marquez (Racine, Wisconsin), born in Eagle Pass, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mike may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mike touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Marquez and Maria Gonzalez; his wife Sally; his children, Johnny Marquez and Carmel Johnson of Racine; his grandchildren, Johnny James Johnson and Mariah Marquez; his grandmother Maria Gonzalez; his great-grandparent Leopolda Betancourt; and his sisters, Rosa Guzman and Lydia Gonzalez. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
