As Michael departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Michael. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Mae and Ethel Mae; his wife Patricia A. Sorensen; and his brother Steven Devine. He is survived by: his daughters, Deanna Cook (Scott), Michelle Devine (Matthew Traxler) and Kerri Devine (Andy Gyarmaty); and his brother Patrick Devine (Sandy). He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren; his great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Purath Strand Funeral Home (3915 Douglas Ave, Racine, WI 53402). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at the West Lawn Memorial Park (9000 Washington Ave, Racine, WI 53406).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Emaus Lutheran Church, 1925 Summit Avenue, Racine, WI 53404 have been suggested.
