She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrosio Vela and Angelica Vela. She is survived by: her husband Eliseo G. Barrera of Rita's Catholic Church; her brother Ramon Vela (Norma); her children, Juanita Lee (Sea Jung), Michael Barrera (Judy), Sarah Bishop (Dennis), Martha Petersen (Leroy) and Michelle Jankowski (Kevin); her grandchildren, Saungpil, Micaela, Saungho, Jonathan, Bridgette, Daniel, Nicole, Rudy, Kevin, Sebastian, Gavin and Logan; her great grandchildren, Harper, Morrison, Serafina, Dylan, Paxton, Daniel Jr., Natalia, Chloe, Angel, Alex, Tanya, Kevin Jr. and Alivia; her son-in-law Sea-Jung Lee; and her grandchildren, Saungmin and Megan Barrera. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, and other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sturino Funeral Home (3014 Northwestern Ave, Racine, WI 53404). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
