It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie A. Oliver (Racine, Wisconsin), born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Oliver; her parents, Selmar Offord Sr. and Mary Helen Offord; her daughter Shenita Bryant; her stepchildren, Vanessa Oliver and James Oliver Jr.; her grandson Nicholas Riley; and her siblings, Gloria Everson and Ted Offord.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Andre Bryant of Racine, WI and Keona Oliver of Tracy, CA; her stepchildren, Artis Oliver of Tacoma, WA, Alice Oliver, Valerie Oliver, Kenneth Oliver and Ricky Person (Markie) of Racine, WI.; her siblings, Cynthia Offord of Dallas, TX, Yvonne Offord-Person of Dallas, TX, Greta Benjamin (Gregory) of Birmingham, AL, Selma Swain (Steven) of Birmingham, AL, Eduardo Offord (Margaret) of Birmingham, AL., Ronald Offord (Phyllis) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Richard Offord (Teresa) of Killeen, TX and Boswyck Offord (Stacey) of Haymarket, VA; and her sisters-in-law, Gracie McMillian, Rebecca Oliver, Shirley Oliver of Racine, WI, Garnett Oliver of Oakland, CA, Carliss Oliver of Gulfport, MS. and Lorraine Barker. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
