He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Hempel; his granddaughters, Shannan Pineda (Luis), Melissa Sloan (Chris), Michelle Bolman (Bart) and Jamie Jenkins; and his brother Richard Kotes. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
