It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Nicholas Buttera (Racine, Wisconsin), born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas and Stella; his wife Rose; and his siblings, Leonard, Charles, Nicholas and Rita Hoefling (Don).
He is survived by: his children, Ruthann Williams of Kenosha and Nicholas Buttera (Lisa) of Appleton; his granddaughter Thea; his great grandchildren, Leo and Solomon; and his sisters, Florence Hammelev and Michaeleen "Mickey" Hernandez. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
