He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Louise; his siblings, Bernard Miller (Betty), Lucille Lichter (Harry), Norman Miller (Phyllis), Dolores Burke (Robert), Geraldine Gursky (William), Frank Miller (Dolores), Richard Miller (Vivian) and Jean Fischer (Harry); his brothers-in-law, Stan Penczykowski and John Gyurina; his father-in-law Charles Willmes (Helen); and his in-laws, Arlene Blommel (Joe) and Kathleen Ruffalo.
He is survived by: his wife Helen M. Willmes; his children, Jody Angel (Dick), Jenny Hovan (Gary), John, Jack Miller (Carol), Andrew Miller (Amy) and Amy Schaefer (Tom); his grandchildren, Quinn Angel (Kristina), Elizabeth Gardon (Nick), Susan Meinerz (Max), Catherine Kusters (Ben), Zachary Hovan (Charlotte), Christian Hovan, Leah Krupo (Brian), Joseph Simons, Nathan Simons (MacKenzie), Poppy Miller, Bluesette Miller, Alaina Merrick (Kyle), Alexandra Datka (Mitchell), Ava Schaefer and Audra Schaefer; his sisters, Gladys Penczykowski and Joyce Gyurina; his siblings-in-law, Mary Willmes and Tim Willmes (Lynn); and his friend Barbara Walker. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the CST St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (6400 Spring St, Mt Pleasant, WI 53406). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (6400 Spring St, Mt Pleasant, WI 53406).
Memorials to his granddaughters' medical fund, "The Schaefer Girls Medical Fund" Horicon Bank or to "St. Catherine's High School Frank and Louise Miller Family Legacy Fund" have been suggested by the family.
