He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil and Esther; and his wife Carol Bonini. He is survived by: his children, Lisa M. Bixler, Lori Fritz (Matthew) and John B. Neufeld; his granddaughters, Amy Georgi (Brandon), Jessica Fritz and Emma Cornelius; his great grandchildren, Olivia Cornelius and Evangelina Georgi; his sister Gloria Kowbel; his in-laws, Gerald Bonini (Carol) and Theresa Carey (Donald); and his niece Christine Kowbel. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Memorials to the Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin have been suggested.
