Jean Marie Zitka Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2025, at the age of 96, Jean Marie Zitka (Racine, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Strippel and Cora Strippel (Maasberg); her husband George O. Zitka, Jr.; her sister-in-law Gladys Jensen (Robert); and her nephew Dane Jensen.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth James (Ron), Katherine Johnson (Jeff), Philip Zitka (Vicki) and Rebecca Feehrer (Todd); and her grandchildren, Emily Weyker (Eric), Zach Zitka (Morgan Gee), Amy Maxedon (Austin), Maggie Zitka (Joe Parise), Sam Zitka (Alexis) and Sydney Feehrer.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sturino Funeral Home (3014 Northwestern Ave, Racine, WI 53404). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to one's favorite charity have been suggested.
