With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jean Baumann of Racine, Wisconsin, born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jean left this world on October 26, 2024 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Blank and Lucy Blank; her husband Gil Baumann; her sisters, Ruth Young and Joan Field; and her siblings-in-law, Max Algase, Pahl Young, Violet Ernst and Lillian Thomsen.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew Baumann (Pamela) of Kenosha, WI, Mark Baumann (Alta Jane) of Watauga, TN and Lorrie Olson (Todd) of Verona, WI.; her grandchildren, Andrew Olson (Elizabeth) of Minneapolis, MN and Carly Wallner (Marty) of Menomonee Falls, WI; her great grandchildren, Endre Olson, Lucy Wallner, Leo Wallner and Aida Olson; her siblings, Barbara Algase, Donna Amberg (Don), Fred Blank (Sally), Arnold Blank (Linda) and Bruce Blank; and her close friends, Edie Weitkum and Darryl Napiontek.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (4340 6 Mile Rd, Racine, WI 53402). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made, in Jeanne's memory, to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
