He was predeceased by: his parents, Axel and Eleanor; his brother Dale; and his pet Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Donna Peterson; his daughter Kiersten; his son-in-law Dan Gruen; his granddaughters, Kira Meldgaard, Hanna Sosa and Zoe Gruen; and his great grandchildren, Alice Rae, Lucas Gruen, Braxton Gruen and Mazey Gruen.
