She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel P. and Rosalie A.; her husband William "Bill" A. Markus; her sisters, Lynn V. Hurtt and Camille "Pamela" Moran; and her friend Joanne Sholly.
She is survived by: her daughter Jane Slusar (Timothy); her grandchildren, Tia Slusar (Andrew Boho) of Waterford and Zakari Slusar of Oshkosh; her brother Samuel F. Cicero; and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Bruzas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Purath Strand Funeral Home (3915 Douglas Ave, Racine, WI 53402). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
