He is survived by: his spouse Mickey Soetenga; his children, Vicki Vanderkwaak (Lloyd) of Maple City, MI, Joel Veenstra (Gona) of Gig Harbor, WA, Tim Veenstra (Yvonne) of Wasilla, AK, Tamera Schreur (Ed) of Redlands, CA, Todd Veenstra (Teresa) of Fountain Inn, SC and John Veenstra of Racine, WI; and his siblings-in-law, Butch Soetenga, Anne Veenstra, Jan Veenstra and Deb Soetenga. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Racine Christian Reformed Church (900 Illinois St, Racine, WI 53405).
