With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emil Mrkvicka of Racine, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 13, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Emil may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mrkvicka and Bridgette Mrkvicka; his daughter Marilyn Mrkvicka; and his wife Gerrie Mrkvicka. He is survived by: his sons, Allen Mrkvicka of Robinsdale, MN and Steven Mrkvicka Sr. (Alison) of Racine; his grandchildren, Adrienne Mrkvicka of Eden Prairie, MN., Steven Mrkvicka Jr. and Kristen Mrkvicka; his great grandchildren, Alexia Scholzen (Seth) and Myah Caron; and his great great grandchild Emery Scholzen.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Communion Lutheran Church (2000 W 6th St, Racine, WI 53405). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
