It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Marsh (Racine, Wisconsin), who passed away on June 16, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Marsh; his parents, Augie Marsh and Idell Marsh; his siblings, Joseph, Bently, Lonnie Marsh, Ida Mae Lott (Jacob), Mattie Jones (Frank), Elsie Roberson (William) and Fareeda Dadzie; and his grandsons, Demetrius Posey, Alfonzo Spencer, Anthony W. First Jr. and Kentrall Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Posey of San Francisco, CA, Renee Williams (LaVester) and Mary D. Posey (Niecy) of Los Angeles, CA; his brother Frank Marsh (Phyliss) of Freeman Spur, IL; his brother-in-law Harvey Pittman; and his stepchildren, Willis and Gloria Kirby. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
