He was predeceased by: his parents, Harve Peterson and Jane Peterson; his former wife Marjorie "Pat" Pier; and his stepson John Nielsen. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his stepdaughters, Renee Thomas and Julianne Flaherty (Timothy); his stepdaughter-in-law Susan Nielsen; and his stepgrandchildren, Brian Edgar, Joel Edgar, David Nielsen (Jill), Krystle Stolzel (Jason), Taylor Edgar, Austin Edgar, Brianna Edgar, Natalie Nielsen, Matthew Nielsen and Corbin Stolzel. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the CDT Trinity Lutheran Church (2065 Geneva St, Racine, WI 53402). The military honors will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (2065 Geneva St, Racine, WI 53402).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church (for Don's Shop) are suggested.
