He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard and Patricia; and his brother Daniel Schlichting. He is survived by: his wife Jean Schlichting; his daughters, Sandy Rodriguez (Jose) and Tracie Schlichting (Ken Krug); his grandchildren, Gabriel, Sophia, Juliana and Christian; his siblings, Robin Newman (Gary) and Joseph Schlichting (Melissa); and his sister-in-law Cindy Schlichting. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
