Beverly Bowen Obituary

Racine- Beverly J. Bowen, 88 passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at Lincoln Park Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born in Racine on April 10, 1936 to the late Anges A. and Genevieve (nee: Maybe) Anderson.

Bev attended Gateway Technical College and was employed with High Ridge Care Center and Ridgewood Care Center.

She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and going to concerts and the casinos. Above all, she loved spending time with family and friends.

Bev is survived by her children LeRoy Bowen, David (Angela) Bowen, Jennifer Bowen; her 12 grandchildren; her 3 great-grandchildren; and her siblings Normayne Stringer, Martin Anderson, and Geneveive Anderson.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son John E. Bowen, 2 granddaughters Amber and Nellie Bowen, her sister Sharon Anderson and brother Raymond Anderson.

Funeral services for Beverly were held privately.
