He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore and Ruth. He is survived by: his wife Grace Preuss; his children, Bonnie Christensen (Jeff), Nancy Preuss, Mary Preuss and Art Preuss (Denise); his grandchildren, Julie Langebartels (John), Kevin Christensen (Holly), Ashley Spencer (Talon Myers) and Matthew Preuss (Elizabeth); his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Jacob, Hannah, Leah, Ryan, Aiden, Zachary, Madison and Connor; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Fiedler, Mary Preuss, Ardis Koeller and Doreen Wunsch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (1501 Erie St, Racine, WI 53402). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church or Racine Lutheran High School have been suggested.
