He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence and Marian Caelwaerts (Andrews); his parents-in-law, Ervin and Dorothy Banaszynski; and his siblings, Sharon, Mary, Anne, Maxine, Larry (Marian), Myron (Kathy) and Kevin.

He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Kent Caelwaerts (Crystal), Chris Caelwaerts (Annette), Chanda Kulow (Mark), Carlin Roskopf (Doug) and Charity Kapla (Alan); his grandchildren, Samantha Helmle, Alex, Devon Caelwaerts, Danielle, Kasey Caelwaerts, Collyn, Sophia Kulow, Breckyn, Caiden, Lexys, Brylee Ryg, Derrick, Dylan Roskopf, Ashton and Leah Kapla; his great grandchildren, Bentley Caelwaerts, Jude, Lucy and Maxwell Helmle; his siblings, Randy Caelwaerts (Maureen), Clarice Pasch (Gary), Denise Holup (Peter) and Debbie Caelwaerts (Kathy); and his siblings-in-law, Gezela Caelwaerts, Bob Radoserich, Arlene Zuleger (Lavern) and Diane Kahler (Ken). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and family friends.
