He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Ruechel and Marie Ruechel (Raether); his wife Arlene Moes; his siblings-in-law, Gert Ruechel, Eleanor VanLanen, Milton Wickesberg, Vernon VanLanen, Arthur Moes and Kenneth Moes; and his daughter-in-law Donna Ruechel.
He is survived by: his children, Darrel Ruechel (JoAnn) of Appleton, Bonnie Shepard (Don) of Pulaski, Rosemarie Busch (Rodney) of Oshkosh and Geraldine Druckrey (Doug) of Bonduel; his grandchildren, Linda Slaby (Bob), Debby Manske (Steve), Rhonda Prill (Dan), Alan Ruechel, Scott Shepard (Theresa), Sheila Fassbender (John), Julie Stoltenow (Greg), Mark Shepard (Karisa), Amanda Bricco (Travis), Gregory Busch (Nina), Matthew Busch (Andrene), Jeff Druckrey (Sierra) and Laura Witz (Brian); his brothers, Jerald Ruechel (Carol) and William E. Ruechel; and his sisters-in-law, Virginia Moes, Carol Moes and Judy Olsen (Ken). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
