She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clayton Thyes and Marion Thyes (Forester); her former husband Kenneth Verheyden; her husband Ken; her sons, Brian Verheyden of Pulaski, Bill Verheyden (Linda) of Pulaski and Jeff Verheyden (Laurie) of Pulaski; her grandchildren, Mike Verheyden (Faith), Randy Verheyden of Rochester, MN and Beth Anne Verheyden; her great grandchild Grayson; her siblings, Mary Kay Vanderveren (Carl) and Mike Thyes (Mary); and her siblings-in-law, Richard Verheyden (Mary Ann) and Carol Hornick (Richard). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
