He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin T. Hovie and Emily Hovie (Radtke); his wife Gloria; his children, James and Kathy Folkman; his sister Gerri Rudie (Ole); and his brothers-in-law, Clyde Eichman and Gary Erdman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Mueller (Joe Oskey) and Pam Landwerlen (Cliff) of Jamestown, IN; his grandchildren, Matt Folkman (Jenny), Tarra Gallagher (Mike), Eric Folkman (Joanna), Ryan Folkman (Jen), Clint Mueller (Abby), Casey Mueller (Jill), Cole Mueller, Josh Landwerlen (Kari) and Mindy Bodine (Bill); his son-in-law Jim Folkman; and his sister-in-law Marion Eichman. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren.
