He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Wielgus and Helen Wielgus (Szymanski); his brothers, Robert and Daniel; and his wife Evelyn Ladowski.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Wielgus (Ed Amberger), Madison, David Wielgus, William Wielgus of Alexandria, VA and Cathi Wielgus (Michael Durian); his son-in-law Paul Thompson (Pulaski); his grandchildren, Jayson Wielgus (Brenda Sao), Eleanor Wielgus and Evelyn Thompson; and his niece Jennifer Ladowski (Lloyd). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
