Geraldine left this world on January 15, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Holtfreter and Marguerite Holtfreter (Burkart); her husband Arnold Foat; her parents-in-law, Floyd and Adeline Foat (Feuerhammer); her siblings-in-law, Harold Foat, Donald Foat, Harold Collier and Shirley Shafer; and her close friend Glenn Meade.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Foat of Murfreesboro, TN, Anne Klein (Marshall) of Pulaski, WI, Susan Backhaus, Bill Foat (Sue) of Capron, IL and John Foat of Gilman, WI; her grandchildren, Jeff Goodwill (Michelle), Kimberly Schlafke (Robby), Zachary Klein (Jenni Jadin), Ryan Foat (Megan), Dustin Foat (Becca), Crystal Backhaus (Matt Vandenplas), Katie Backhaus (Casey Mackin), Elizabeth Tevis (James) and Amanda Irvin; her great grandchildren, Weston Schlafke, Lucas Schlafke, Joshua Schlafke, Tyler Goodwill, Kcee Foat, Evan Tevis, Eli Tevis, Scarlitt Vandenplas, Dakota Irvin and Kaylee Irvin; her siblings, Larry Holtfreter (Arlene) and Mary Lou Collier; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Foat. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Assumption BVM Catholic Church (125 E Pulaski St, Pulaski, WI 54162). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the McHenry Memorial Park (11301 Lake Ave, Woodstock, IL 60098).
