He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Ripley and Anna Ripley; his spouse LaVerne Mae Ullman; his parents-in-law, Walter and Leah Ullman; his siblings, Bob, Mary Jane Gigot (John), Annamae Jeanquart (Eddie), Gerry Fameree (Mel) and Audrey Gustke (Roger); and his siblings-in-law, Bob Ullman (Collette), Richard Smithwick, Joe Stoller, Diane Shinnick and Bonnie Luedtke (Leonard).

He is survived by: his children, Russ (Michele), Rebecca (Ted Ringger), Rob (Eileen), Ron (Doreen), Renee (Randy Grygiel), Rick (Cathy), Rod, Rock (Michele) and Roger (Jeni); his grandchildren, Wess, Justin, Ron, Brandon, Jerad, Jamie (Bratz), Amanda (Gates), Sean, Andy (Kolinski), Kyle, Jeremy, Zach, Hailie (Rivera), Jake (Kolinski), Sydney and Madison; his stepgrandsons, Eric Timm, Forrest and Mason Grygiel; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Jackson, Jonas, Tyler, Emilia, Dawson, Asher, Eve, Cora, Lucy, Stella, Nola, Tilly, Saylor, Sadie, Joseph, Judah and John; his siblings-in-law, Myrtle Ripley, Carol Naze (Aaron), Darlene Stoller, Randy and Gale Ullman (Rita); and his grandson Kevin Ripley. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Emil and LaVerne Ripley Scholarship Fund. Checks made out to the Pulaski Community Education Foundation may be given to any of Emil's nine children or left at Marnocha Funeral Home.
