We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Dorothea Umentum of Pulaski, Wisconsin. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Larscheid and Margaret Larscheid (Eisch); her husband Melvin J. Umentum; and her brothers, Merle Larscheid and Clayton Larscheid.

She is survived by: her former husband Matthew Dodich; her children, Mary Heintzkill (Tom), Cathy Day (Bill), Deacon Paul Umentum (Theresa), Sue Ritchay (Jim) and Matthew Umentum (Judy); and her sisters, Lolly Sorenson, Anna Mae Szymanski and Janice Nackers. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.

In lieu of floral expressions a memorial fund has been established in her name.

“I feel so lucky to have known Dorthea for the short time that I did. She was a dear friend to my mother while they were together in St. Francis Memory Care at the McCormick Home. She was always up for a craft or sing-along, and I enjoyed doing puzzles with her. What a wonderful, dear, lady. She was a “light” at all my visits to see my mom. I know she will be missed by many. Fondly, Maureen McKenna- Lil’s daughter.”
