He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Krentz and Irene Lashock Krentz; his grandparents, Frank, Anna Marshall Krentz, Martin and Johanna Lashock; his siblings, Shirley Rosenmeier, Carol Schlaefer, Gordon Krentz and Lambert Krentz; his nieces, Donna Krentz and Nancy Nickodem; and his nephew Matt Schlaefer.
He is survived by: his sister Grace Nickodem; his nephews, Dan Rosenmeier (Patty), Andy Nickodem (Connie) and Joe Krentz; his siblings-in-law, Bernadette Krentz and Jim Rosenmeier; his cousins, Gilbert Krentz (Darlene) and David Krentz (late Donna); and his close friend Marjorie Brooks. He is also survived by six nieces.
