She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben Shier and Eleanor Shier (Bean); her daughter Theresa Shier; her son-in-law Brad Brilliott; her siblings, Tom Shier (Marsha), Claude Shier, Patsy Kratz (Fred), Ruth Evans and Elmore Shier; and her sisters-in-law, Bonnie Shier and Florence Shier.
She is survived by: her husband Carl; her daughters, Carol Erdman of Packwaukee and Angie Brilliott of Baraboo; her grandchildren, Nik, Ashley, Nicholas, Gregory, Thadius, Carl and Abraham; her great grandchildren, Lukas, Faith, Samuel, Eleanora and Olivia; her brothers, Walter Shier (Kathleen) and Eugene Shier; and her close friends, Dave and Mona Matijevich. She is also survived by other extended family members and friends.
