He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Hemming and Virginia Hemming (Guenther); his former wife Colleen Hemming; his sisters, Joyce Sands and Carole Geske; his brother-in-law Whitey Sands (William McKernan); and his parents-in-law, Merlin and Eva McKernan.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Jane) of Portage, Wisconsin, Anne Munson (Jeff) of Fitchburg, Wisconsin, John (Cheri Ripp) of Fitchburg, Wisconsin and Stephen (Stacy) of Lino Lakes, Minnesota.; his wife Nellie Hemming (Herrmann); his grandchildren, Heidi Venden (Devin), Addison, Zachary Hemming, Alexander, Jacob, Katarina, Eric Munson, Allison, Carter and Tyler Hemming; his great grandchild Brielle Venden; and his siblings-in-law, Grady Geske (David McKernan) and Joan Moe (Judy McKernan). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
