He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Langer and Florence Langer (Andrle); and his sisters, Marlys Langer and Joanne (Berg). He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Mary Reinardy; his children, Kathie Baklund (Don), Kevin, David Langer (Ann), Gary Langer (Sarah), Linda Miller (Steve) and Jennifer Nelson (Chad); his grandchildren, Zach, Eric, Maria, Holly, Katie, Jake, Emily, Maggie, Matthew, Noah, Haley, Ryan, Jordan, Kayla, Cole, Brennan and Adelyn; his great grandchild Cooper; and his siblings, Donald Langer (Doris), Rosie Brookshaw (Dick) and Judy Hermann (Don). He is also survived by his in-laws, many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request is to have Masses said in Alvin's memory.
