With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan Douglas Klein Sr. (Prescott, Wisconsin), born in Litchfield, Minnesota, who passed away on December 4, 2019 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Klein and Laura Klein (Olson); his wife Joanne Carlson; and his sisters, Tulida Blackford (John), Laurie Nelson (Bert) and Phyllis Kerr (Douglas).

He is survived by: his children, Alan Douglas Jr. Klein (Susan) of River Falls, WI, Charlie Klein (Christy) of Prior Lake, MN and Julie Bliven of Bloomington, MN; his grandchildren, Alicia Duerkop, Douglas III Klein (Kristen), Kelsey Bye (Tyler), Matthew Klein, Erin Towey (Steve) and Andrew Bliven (Nicole); his great grandchildren, Ryan, Colin, Natalie, McKenna, Bradley and Lucas; his brother Philip Klein (Shirley); and his pet Lady. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
